May heralds the arrival of the 'Kimberly Cooking School'- a unique, annual 'gourmet getaway'. Perth-based masterchef Chris Taylor is your guide to the produce and cuisine of the exotic Faraway Bay. There's scope for students to be as hands-on or laid-back as they please, with an informal tuition style and time allocated for excursions and activities such as boating to the magnificent twin falls on the King George River, fishing or exploring ancient rock art. Cooking sessions are held in an open-air lodge, enabling visitors to enjoy the weather and splendid scenery.
The Kimberley Cooking School is held at the open-air Eagle Lodge and the fee includes a three-day all-inclusive experience, covering air transfers, cooking school, all activities, your meals and beverages. Maximum group size is 12, with prices from AUS$4550 for a standard cabin to AUS$4,950 for an ensuite.
