Helen Hokin's August Picks

In August, Foodtripper journeys to Northern Finland, south of the Arctic Circle, staying at Arola Farm with ex dairy farmers Helena and Eero Sappanen. Close by lies Martinselkonen National Park, a Tolkeinesque wilderness where shy bears roam the forest, beavers create their chaos on the riverbanks and capercaillie can be spotted in the trees. Read the full feature here.

We check in for a full inspection of the £5 million transformation of the Greenhouse Hotel in Bournemouth - a rags to riches story involving an eco-makeover and an innovative new chef. Full review here.

Zoe Perrett hikes Richmond Hill in south west London to meet chef Alex Bentley at The Petersham Hotel and sample his seafood menu which is available throughout the summer. More here  And we're delighted to tell you that The Hungry Cyclist is back with a thrilling and ever so slightly bonkers London tandem tour.

Foodtripper TV

And we're giving one lucky Foodtripper and partner the chance to win the very same trip, worth £5000. Just answer this simple question to be in the running.
