Fantastic days out for just £1 are hard to come by nowadays- particularly ones as delightful as this. August Bank Holiday sees the return of Wirral's popular festival- this year, the theme is 'Food Matters'.
And, with chef demos, the chance to taste and buy from over 90 producers, and real food for thought from the 'Dig A Little Deeper' stage, there's plenty to chew on. A pint of real ale's pretty much de rigueur at these rural dos, and you'll be spoilt for choice in the Betwixt Brewery Beer marquee. The kids can try their hand at pottery, circus skills, or cooking, whilst the adults soak up the music, the atmosphere and (hopefully!) the sunshine.
The Wirral Food and Drink Festival is run solely by volunteers for the benefit of the community. In order to keep it running smoothly, (and to ensure its survival!), we are introducing a small charge of £1. There will be no charge for under fives or for the car park.
