World's Hottest Rooftops for Sky-high Snacking

World's Hottest Rooftops for Sky-high Snacking
Helen Hokin: From Jerusalem to Barcelona, London, New York, LA and beyond, the rooftop has replaced the hotel lobby as the hippest venue for drinking, eating, lounging and, in some spectacular cases, taking a dip. Rule of thumb: the higher the better.

Terrace tables have been unstacked and sun loungers brushed down, the Sky Bar at Barcelona's Grand Hotel Central has just reopened for the summer. The stunning infinity pool, spacious sun deck and relaxing chill out bar are perfect for taking in the unique views over the surrounding Born district and the city's skyline. An exciting new gastro-concept known as 'Nights and Trays' offers bento boxes of carefully selected Mediterranean tapas and dishes for two - all overseen by two-Michelin starred Chef Ramon Freixas.

The Standard, High Line
The Meatpacking district’s coolest hang out, Le Bain at The Standard, High Line is one of the city’s most exclusive hot spots. Live music, stunning Manhattan views, from Brunch through to late night – the rooftop will also see the return of its Robataya Japanese Grill this summer for delicious sky high dining.

Mamilla, Jerusalem
Mamilla hotel in Jerusalem serves a deliciously fresh Mediterranean menu at its famed Rooftop restaurant, perched on the edge of the Old City, affording some of the most magical views in the world. The Mamilla hotel allows for an elegant, luxurious experience in this design conscious hotel.

The Standard, Downtown LA
Downtown LA is now the creative pulse of the city, and the place to see and be seen is the rooftop at The Standard, Downtown LA. Live music, pool parties, waterbed pods, cocktails, and a Biergarten for weiners and beer. All that, plus with the best views of Downtown LA’s skyline, what’s not to love?

SUSHISAMBA London
London's Sushisamba remains the highest outdoor dining venue in Europe, with two al fresco spaces on the 38th floor, including the East Terrace featuring jaw-dropping views of the Gkerkin, Canary Wharf, the Olympic Park and River Thames laid out below. The action is set to hot up this summer during the World Cup with parties, events and the signature Kaffirinha (caipirinha with kaffir lime) on hand to celebrate in true Brazilian, samba style.
