Phileas Fogg is back

Those fond of a cocktail peanut or two will no doubt remember Phileas Fogg's snacks. The brand's back with a new look and a plethora of new nibbles sourced far and wide. Commendably, they've matched ingredients to the particular flavour experience they want to deliver- so we get Indian chillies in Indian red chilli poppadoms, but Mexican mild and smoked ones in the Salsa. Closer to home, good old British cheese makes the Irish cheddar and onion chutney crisps. The range includes quite a few familiar products- Brazilian cashews, Persian pistachios and Indonesian sea salt and black peppercorn crisps- but emphasis on provenance and quality materials sets the bar a little higher. With pocket money prices ranging from 58p to £1.69, they're a good bet for Stay-At-Home-Gourmets who just can't wait until dinner.
