Biodegradable chewing gum

Masterchef's Thomasina Myers' popular Mexican canteen, Wahaca, is to launch a brand new chewing gum. The Mexican 'Chicza Organic' gum comes in Wild Mint, Lime and Spearmint variants- and its all-natural formulation boasts the unique ability to revert to dust within weeks. Harvesting the gum base comes from chicozapote trees in Mexican jungles is a sustainable process, and assists the conservation of the country's rainforests. From April onward, the biodegradable gum- a world first- will be on sale in both London branches- Covent Garden and Westfield. Try it for yourself at £1.39 for 12 pieces from either restaurant- details of which can be found at at www.wahaca.co.uk
