Cornwall: Camel Valley Vineyard releases last of triple trophy winning wine

Camel Valley Vineyard in Cornwall are releasing the last 200 bottles of their triple trophy-winning 2008 Sparkling Rosé as a special edition in time for Christmas.  Each bottle will be numbered and displayed in a presentation box along with two designer glass flutes, a bottle saver and a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the winemaker, Sam Lindo.

The sparkling wine, produced from 100% Pinot Noir, won a record three trophies in competitions this year:  2010 International Wine Challenge England Trophy; 2010 International Wine Challenge International Sparkling Rosé Trophy 2010 and 2010 Bollicine Del Mondo Best International Sparkling Rosé.

“We are so proud of the achievements of this wine on the international stage and felt that the last remaining bottles had collector’s appeal,” commented Bob Lindo, Proprietor of Camel Valley Vineyard, whose son, Sam is the current Winemaker of the Year in the UK wine industry’s own competition.  “Already, before the boxes have been made, 12 have been reserved by collectors who see the £59.95 price tag as an absolute Christmas bargain!”

This limited edition presentation box retails at £59.95, and is only available direct from Camel Valley. Tel: 01208 77959
