Leading airline, British Midland International (bmi), has won Best Domestic Airline at the Scottish Passenger Agents’ Association Awards.
The 18th Annual SPAA Travel Awards took place at the Hilton in Glasgow. Voted for by travel trade in Scotland and judged by an independent panel, bmi beat off stiff competition from Flybe in the Best Domestic Airline category.
bmi was also voted Runner Up for Best European Airline and Iain Raeper of bmi’s Business Sales Team was nominated for Best Airline Representative.
Joerg Hennemann, Chief Commercial Officer for bmi, commented:
“bmi is delighted to have been chosen as the winner of this award. As the second largest airline at London Heathrow, bmi carries over two million domestic passengers each year. We remain strongly committed to providing good connectivity in our domestic markets and delivering a high level of service for our valued customers.”
