London: Destination Carnaby Street

An historic London enclave, now known for being one of London’s premier shopping and lifestyle destinations boasting independent offerings, unique boutiques and global brands. Ganton Street welcomes customers with its selection of discerning international cuisine from traditional English to tasty Thai, American favourites and Asian fusion to Italian delicacies.

Nine independent eateries can be found on Ganton Street, offering a taste variety from breakfast through to dinner and beyond creating a unique urban retreat which really typifies that sense of discovery synonymous with the Carnaby spirit. You really can eat around the world in Ganton Street. 
Dehesa’s traditional Italian and Spanish character is the perfect setting for its in house charcuterie, small plates and relaxed dining. The refined wine list is also well recommended. 
Travel to New York with all of the 1950s American classics at The Diner – hot dogs, Californian burgers and meat loafs served alongside signature cocktails and shakes. Listen to 50s Rock and Roll on juke box.
Diners are spoilt for choice with the DIY menu at English classic Mother Mash. Start with a choice of 14 different flavoured sausages and pies, accompanied by 1 of 6 mash combinations, topped off with 1 of 5 gravy varieties.
At Mangosteen you can sample the authentic Thai flavours and delicately scented dishes including chilli and sweet basil recipes. If you are a fan of Asian fusion, Cha Cha Moon, offers delicious and affordable dishes at in a relaxed, yet strikingly contemporary atmosphere. Choose to dine inside or out in the picturesque courtyard. 
Those in the know head straight to independent New Zealand coffee house Sacred for its famous flat white, while for others, it is the perfect place for delicious teas served in unusual teapots along with a slice of homemade cake.
Music may well be the food of love so if that is the case, visit Zebrano which hosts resident and guest DJs playing the hottest tunes in the vibrant basement lounge bar.
The restaurant bar upstairs opens onto the street serving European cuisine and is where you can find an outdoor barbeque throughout the summer, every Friday and Saturday. Classic English pubs The Blue Posts offers a wide selection of casked ales and organic Sunday roasts, while The Shaston Arms serves a wide range of local ales and is the perfect place to enjoy a drink after a busy day.
