Noma Chef cooks in Yorkshire

Sam Miller, second chef at Noma, Copenhagen, will be creating an 8 course tasting menu that combines Noma style with the quality of Yorkshire ingredients. Noma was recently voted best restaurant in the S. Pellegrino World’s 50 Best Restaurants Awards. Sixteen lucky customers will experience some of the best cooking available in the world today and get to see the chef in action at The Cooking Rooms on 1st August. Sam hails from York and after stints in a series of world class restaurants including Le Champignon Sauvage, El Bulli (World’s Best Restaurant 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009) and Mugaritz, he has been part of the Noma team led by Head Chef René Redzepi who have won the top accolade in the restaurant world.
For anyone fortunate enough to secure a place, this event at The Cooking Rooms represents a unique opportunity. Not only to sample the culinary style that thousands of diners across the globe have joined a 3 month waiting list to sample, but also to meet the chef and his helpers as he prepares the dishes that promise to be a total food experience. The Cooking Rooms is privileged to be able to host this once in a lifetime event and wants to make it available to people genuinely interested in cutting edge cuisine. For this reason the cost per person for Sam’s Noma- style tasting menu with carefully selected wine to match is just £75 per person. To book or to find out more about the
