London: Inn The Park summer barbeque bonanza

Having spent most of her career working in Australia, she is regarded as something of a barbecue queen and is happiest at the grill, here using only the very best, locally grown British ingredients, supplied by unsurpassed artisan producers, rare breed farmers and specialist fisherman.

Offering a real gastronomic treat every Saturday and Sunday from noon till late, Amanda’s barbecue will be grilling delights such as succulent Longhorn organic beef burger with Coleston Basset Stilton and Ayrshire streaky bacon; new season Barnsley lamb chop with a mint, Ticklemore and fennel salad; and Peyton and Byrne’s smoked bacon and sage sausage sandwich made using their secret recipe. Other meaty mains include T–bone steak and Longhorn Rib Eye on the bone, both with Béarnaise sauce, for two or more to share.

Meat-free options feature charred Kent asparagus with Hollandaise sauce and Cornish sardines with grilled tomatoes. Diners can also order a range of accompaniments and salads such as curried coleslaw; Jersey Royal Potato salad; and tomato and basil salad.

BEST OF BRITISH COCKTAILS
Inn the Park is also proud to announce a superlative new collection of cool cocktails, made using only British small-batch spirits and fresh fruit juices, Inn the Park’s rooftop bar. Forget hanging around on crowded pub pavements, the rooftop’s bench seating and moss green wrought iron tables provides a glamorous space to relax with friends as the sun goes down. Connoisseurs can choose from flute cocktails such as Inn The Park Royale, made with Chase vodka, a Herefordshire pot-distilled spirit, elderflower liqueur and topped with award-winning Chapel Down Vintage Reserve from Kent. Or for the perfect complement to a balmy summer afternoon, lounge on brightly coloured cushions as you sip a Cucumber and Mint Martini, featuring smooth and creamy Sipsmith gin, distilled in Hammersmith in a copper pot still, with freshly muddled mint, cucumber and a hint of lemon, shaken with cloudy Cornish organic apple juice from Helford Creek Farm. The wine list is equally impressive, with a variety of vintages from across both new and old worlds.

SUMMER OPENING HOURS
With a sizzling barbecue, great British food and contemporary cocktails, Inn The Park is an oasis in the heart of the capital, away from the hustle and bustle of the city – and even more so with new, longer opening hours for the summer and an a la carte dinner menu from 6pm.

CELEBRATE THE SUMMER IN STYLE
To celebrate the start of the summer, Inn The Park is offering diners the chance to enjoy a 50% discount on any bottle of wine from its fabulous selection. To qualify, simply present the receipt from any recent meal to your waiter when you order.*
