Paris: Best Chocolate Book In The World announced

‘Adventures with Chocolate’ beat off competition from books by renowned Chocolatiers from around the World to win the esteemed global prize, including Pierre Herme’s ‘Carrément Chocolat’.
 
Paul says of the award: ‘Adventures with Chocolate was a labour of love for me and I’m delighted it has been so well received both by my customers and by the critics. I hope it inspires people to experiment with chocolate and discover a new appreciation for this wonderful, delicious food’.
 
The Gourmand awards look for an author whose personality and heart shines through along with the book being user friendly and respects and understands the reader. Paul is in good company with Alain Ducasse, Valentine Warner and Marcus Wareing also picking up awards for their recent books at the ceremony held at the Paris Cookbook Fair.
 
In addition to the Gourmand awards ‘Adventures with Chocolate’ has been shortlisted in the Andre Simon awards, the most prestigious food and drink book awards in the UK with an extremely high standard of judging. The winning book will be announced in the coming weeks.
 
With stunning photography by Anders Schønnermann throughout, ‘Adventures with Chocolate’ is an inspirational chocolate book packed with delectable recipes and a guide to tasting chocolate.
