Columbia/UK: gourmet coffee cubes arrive in UK in time for Christmas

The handy cubes of coffee, which are available in a range of seven different flavours, have been created by combining coffee selected from the best harvests of Colombia with natural flavours.

Presented in a soluble cube and individually foil-wrapped for freshness, they provide an instantaneous cup of delicious coffee when hot water is added. “These are innovative products of the best quality, and are a totally new concept for the UK,” said Ximena Shelton, of Shelton’s Coffee.

Perfect for taking to work, ideal for outdoor types, and a delightful treat for picnic-lovers, the coffee cubes are available in amaretto, brandy, lemon, natural, vanilla, sambuca and cinnamon flavours, and allow for instantaneous preparation.

The product is easy to prepare, easy to store, has a long shelf life and is sold at a very competitive price. ’The uniqueness of this product is very attractive, I’ve never seen anything like it before but it really is a super drink of coffee with a difference’. Andreas Nicolaides, Kawa Bean.

Shelton Imports will also be offering ChocoCafe - gourmet quality coffee beans covered in chocolate. These are available in pocket-sized bags and are a terrific healthy snack.

All products are produced and packaged in Colombia. The products arrive through Shelton Imports, a firm led by English – Colombian duo Steven and Ximena Shelton based in Leicester, who in just a few months have put the product on the shelves of several delis and coffee shops in London, Norfolk, Reading, Berkshire and the East Midlands.

Ximena Shelton says: "The aim is to supply new, unique and exciting coffee products from Colombia to the UK that fit in with the modern life style using the highest quality of coffee.”
