Spelt right

Is there a more fashion-forward grain than spelt? Sharpham Park Organic, one of the original proponents of this nutty little wonder, has a couple of new numbers for your delectation. Granola's always a great way to start the day- the naughty sibling to muesli's 'worthy'- and this one packs in spelt flakes, almonds, sunflower and pumpkin seeds. The Farmhouse variety joins a lineup which already includes West Country (spelt flakes, walnuts, seeds, apples and blueberries) and Luxury (spelt flakes, cranberries, walnuts, almonds and seeds) riffs- although for my money they all sound pretty special!
Company owner Roger Saul should know a thing or two about style, as founder of fashion brand Mulberry- not to mention new recipient of the South West Breakfast Champion award. Not content with conquering the breakfast table, Saul's invited himself to dinner too with 'Speltotto' mixes (I think you can guess)- in Tomato and chilli, Pumpkin and shallot and Courgette and garlic varieties.
