Hey there, cupcake

Cupcakes make me go weak at the knees, and any excuse for a trip to the venerable institution that is Piccadilly's Fortnum & Mason is always welcome- so I was over the moon to hear about their new sweet treats. The clever bakers have also dispensed with cupcake ennui- you know, that part where you realise all you have left is plain sponge- by filling the dainty things with strawberry and champagne, perhaps, or chocolate, cherry and brandy- and finishing them all off with a mile-high swirl of buttercream frosting. In my ongoing search for cupcake perfection, £2.75 seems a small price to pay.
