Anouk, discreetly tucked away in Paris’s 8th arrondissement in the Amastan Paris hotel, is a new out-of-sight all-day dining and drinking spot for the refined Parisian and cultured traveller.
Anouk serves a menu of expertly fashioned cocktails and rare spirits alongside a diverse selection of light meals, crafted to enjoy on the bar’s striking central long high ombré marble table or under the leafy canopy of the hotel’s garden accessible through a set of large bay windows.
Guests can drink their favourite classics or try one of Anouk’s specialty goji berry and cherry infused gins with Mediterranean tonic, or savour one of Anouk’s signature cocktails like the El Abogado with mezcal, avocado and spiced eucalyptus syrup. The kitchen offers a selection of charcuterie, fromages, cold and hot dishes, including a Maine style lobster roll, beef tartare and fresh vegetable ravioli.
The light and airy space, designed by local Parisian design and interior architecture studio NOCC, is inspired by the timeless style of classic Parisian homes. The light of a floating chandelier plays gently against the floor-to-ceiling brass-framed bottle shelves, and marble wall detailing complements the striking petrol blue herringbone parquet flooring playfully applied to the walls.
Anouk opens out onto a lush internal garden, offering a hidden evergreen haven where guests can enjoy a drink and a quick bite. This one-of-a-kind landscaped setting also features striking rock shelving that provides natural seating amongst over thirty different species of trees, plants and flowers.
The bar and its garden are open daily to the public and hotel guests and can be hired for private events. Food is served until 12am and drinks served from 7pm until 2am.
