Outsider Tart to open Southern US style food joint

The artisan bakery Outsider Tart is to open its first food joint in central London, serving classic down home Southern US cooking.

Outsider Tart @ Pendulum is a new bar and entertainment venue at 56 - 57 Frith Street, Soho. The new food joint opens July 9th from 4pm Mondays - Saturdays.

Bakery founders David Lesniak and David Muniz are taking a tapas style approach to their menus which clearly draw on their American roots and penchant for Southern US cooking.

Tasty, wholesome and not the least fussy this is pure comfort food. Dishes include mac and cheese, meat loaf and chicken fried steak, Jambalaya, rice and beans and Brrunswick stew.

"We're introducing London to America's foremost regional cuisine by way of some truly iconic dishes and little known heirloom recipes" says David Muniz
