Stellenbosch: Mount Rozier Wine Estate to launch romantic wedding hideaway

The Stunning Mount Rozier Wine Estate, owned by UK family owned-company Cape Wine Exporters, is making the most of its breathtaking 360 degree panoramic views of the Cape Coast and Table mountain, to launch its new Wedding and Conference facilities and open the doors to a romantic couples holiday ‘hideaway’, Peacock Cottage. Mount Rozier is situated in the Somerset West area of Stellenbosch, along the world-famous Stellenbosch ‘wine route’ in South Africa.  It is only 25 minutes by car from Cape Town Airport and 40 minutes from central Cape Town.

The Mount Rozier Wedding and Conference Centre will launch at the end of september to cater for events of all kinds and sizes, tailoring these to the needs and specific requests of businesses and individuals.   The centre will be managed by Shelley Retief who lives on the Mount Rozier Estate with her husband, Ludovic, vineyard manager and their 16 month old daughter Caroline.

Peacock Cottage can be booked for peaceful weekend and week-long holiday rental. It is so-called due to the large number of Peacocks, Eagles, and other stunning bird life flying and roaming around it.  It is a dreamy escape for a couple comprising of one bedroom and ensuite bathroom with open plan kitchen/living room, a plunge pool, outside terrace, fire pit, bbq, and stunning gardens. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, it overlooks stunning False bay and Cape Point. The location is totally private but also secure as it sits in the heart of the estate.  Nearby activities include horse-riding, walking, wine tasting and winery tours on both the Mount Rozier and Journeys End Estates.  The cottage has a maid who comes in daily and an excellent cook can be supplied at an additional cost.  The cost for rent is £100 per night.
