Camille Lesecq, Head Pastry Chef of Le Meurice (and voted Pastry Chef of the Year), has created a delicious and unique chocolate egg to celebrate Easter: the ‘Poule-au-Pot’. Originally instituted by King Henry IV as the national dish of France, the ‘Poule-au-Pot’ was shared by even the most humble of French families each Sunday.
This Easter, family and friends are invited to come together in Le Dali restaurant at Le Meurice to share Camille Lesecq’s charming take on this glamorous French tradition. During their stay at Le Meurice, children can be kept amused with a number of activities including a frozen mirror on which they can write or draw, Le Meurice scooter and bicycles which can be borrowed from the concierge to use in the Tuilerie gardens opposite the hotel and even a treasure hunt which finishes in the General Manager’s office!
The ‘Poule-au-Pot’ will be available at Le Dali restaurant from Monday 18 April until 25 April 2011, priced € 29.
