Famed as the most expensive whisky in the world, The Dalmore Trinitas 64 year old oozes luxury from not just its crystal appearance but its stunning flavours which each should be individually appreciated. It displays powerful notes of sweet raisins, rich Colombian coffee, crushed walnuts and bitter orange, followed by a fusion of grapefruit, sandalwood, white musk and Indonesian patchouli. Sweet sultanas, figs, and a caramelised topping of Seville oranges, apples, mangos and dates roll over the tongue. Then a wave of lingering sensations; vino dulce muscatel, marzipan, treacle toffee, soft liquorice and roasted coffee, finishing with truffles, walnuts and muscovado sugar on the palate.
The stunning crystal decanter has been commissioned and specially made using crystal of unsurpassed quality and clarity. It features intricate, hand-crafted, Sterling silver embellishments and the presentation box is made from solid English oak encased in a Macassar ebony veneer.
The Dalmore Trinitas is available now at Harrods The Wine Shop for £120,000.
